Barnet Multi Faith Forum (BMFF) is Seeking a Fixed Term Part-Time Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team for 30 hours per month, and provide administrative and organizational support to the BMFF Trustees and Executive. In this role, you will play a key role in helping us develop our potential and capacity to promote social cohesion within Barnet.
Barnet Multi Faith Forum is a registered Charity that works to promote respect, tolerance, and collaboration between different faith communities within the London Borough of Barnet. We are a team of volunteers and our work in the borough has grown to the point that we need the support of a part-time administrative assistant.
About the Position:
- Contract: 3 months (with the possibility of extension subject to funding)
- Location: Work from Home
- Remunation: £15.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the BMFF Executive Committee.
- Assist in coordinating and planning meetings, events, and activities.
- Develop and maintain a regularly updated BMFF interfaith newsletter.
- Disseminate and distribute information about events and activities on relevant social media platforms.
- Establish and manage a BMFF database of faith institutions, leaders, and members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for promoting interfaith understanding and social cohesion
