From 30 December to 12 December 2023 The UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28) will take place in Dubai.
Just ahead of the COP starting, on 28 November, Middlesex University London will host a webinar on what COP means and how the University is engaging with and leading the debate in this crucial area.
Join a webinar to discuss how our globally connected campuses and partners are contributing to urgent global climate change challenges through research and engagement. Hear representatives from our three campuses discuss the themes of the 2023 Conference of the Parties, (COP) and how our University family worldwide is preparing for action in the host city of Dubai.
Panellists include Professor Johan Siebers, Theme Director for Sustainability of Communities and the Environment, Andrew Mckenzie, Head of the Institute of Sustainable Development at MDX Dubai, Yogita Popat from Barnet Council in London and Guffran Rostom from the Mauritius campus to discuss the role of communities and partnerships in achieving net zero.
